SNAP ON PIPE
Snap on Pipe insulation is a pre-formed, rigid, resin bonded Glasswool section of
1 metre in length. A single longitudinal slit allows the section to open to encompass
the pipe and snap closed after placement. Standard finishing options are available
in plain, canvas and reinforced foil.

thermal performance at various hot and cold face temperatures.

APPLICATIONS
|
|
Snap on pipe insulation is specifically designed for application to both hot and
cold service piping systems operating at temperatures from -20C up to 450C . Suitable
for application on chilled water and refrigerated lines, hot water, steam & condensate
lines, in domestic, commercial & industrial applications.

DURABILITY
|
- Odourless, inert and fully compatible with all standard building materials & components
- Will not promote corrosion of steel, copper or aluminium
- Will not sustain vermin

|

Available in a wide range of standard nominal bore steel and copper pipe diameters
over a range of insulation thickness. Please refer to price list or supplier for
details.

HANDLING & STORAGE
|
|
Store product undercover, and in dry conditions. Store flat. Handle with care, especially
on the edges and corners, which can be damaged if subject to sharp or heavy impact.
Do not apply excessive pressure, for example by standing or sitting on the product,
as permanent damage may be caused.

ARCHITECTURAL SPECIFICATION
|
|
Install rigid non-combustible light weight "Snap on Pipe" Glasswool insulation with
a nominal inside diameter of (15/20/25/32/40/50/65/80/100/125/150/200/250/300)mm
and a wall thickness of (15/20/25/40/50)mm with (plain/canvas/vapour barrier) facing
for hot/cold service piping. Install in accordance with manufacturer's detail &
specification. |
