APPLICATION |
Megaspan is suitable for all building applications where its thermal and sound
dampening properties can be of benefit. Megaspan is especially suited to certain
farming applications, such as insulation of poultry batteries and piggeries.
Megaspan also has a variety of commercial and industrial uses eg: medical and
educational institutions. In addition, Megaspan is widely used in domestic
housing, and can also be used in vertical cladding.
Megaspan is self supporting up to 3.7 m x 50 mm thick for chromadek ceiling &
3.6 m span for fibre cement ceilings, reducing or even eliminating structural
support. Megaspan integrates the roof, ceiling and insulation - increasing the
interior volume of structures, and is quickly and simply erected. |

flute and stitched with pop rivets at 900 mm centres.
- The end-lap joint to occur on top of a purlin and
sealed with two rows of good quality polyurethane
sealant or preformed adhesive strip sealer.
- Panels must be supported at the ridge by either
purlins or a ridge beam and weatherproofed by
