DURABILITY |
- Odourless, inert and fully compatible with all
standard building materials & components

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS |
Below purlins and suspended ceilings
- Koolspan can be installed using a standard suspended ceiling grid, or a top-hat section.
- Ensure that boards are secured to prevent uplift and cross tees/members at ends of boards are fixed to main tees/members to prevent movement.
- Ridgid hangers (galv angles) are preferred to wire hangers and large boards at full width should be avoided
Over purlins
- Koolspan boards are fixed simultaneously with roofing sheets and must be supported in the lengths by T or H sections
- End joints must be butted together on top of the purlin and the sheet lengths will be determined by the purlin spacing.
- Based on a 25 mm thick board a maximum span of 1800 mm should not be exceeded when using H or T sections.
|
HANDLING & STORAGE |
Koolspan should always be stored under cover and
protected from the elements. Boards should be carried
on the edge. Excess bending can damage the surface of
the boards.
