With over 55 years experience in the South African insulation market, Isover`s 7
local manufacturing sites employ over 400 people producing a wide range of insulation
materials including glasswool, stonewool, expanded polystyrene, phenolic foam and
rigid polyurethane foam.

Saint-Gobain Isover South Africa has the proud distinction of holding the longest
independent certified quality system in the country, having achieved SABS 0157 in
1984 subsequently converted to ISO 9001.
In 2008 we invested R 30 million upgrading our production facilities, installing
the latest TEL fiberising technology which has improved the quality and performance
of our fibres and has increased our production capacity by 30%. This will enable
Isover to meet the growing demand for insulation due to the increased cost of electricity
and the energy efficiency standard (SANS 204) for buildings which will soon be legislated.
